I, Philomena Poetis, founded Munich Members to implement interdisciplinary social impact projects between Munichs creative class, politicians and decision makers of the economy. Next to my Ph.D project on Intercultural Aspects in Social Media in Pakistan and Germany, I enjoy writing as a freelance journalist on topics of music and foreign politics.
Furthermore, I have been trained as classical singer from an early age and love performing classical and opera repertoire at international events and gatherings.
I strongly believe in giving something back, so I support organizations such as Honorary Consulate of Pakistan in Bavaria, HIRE, German Pakistani Forum and Junge Opernfreunde München and organize events such as Poetry Slams to overcome stereotypes.
