“A person’s a person no matter how small”
- Dr Seuss, Horton Hears a Who!

kid’s book project

Project aim

Through a collection of stories from different people around the world, we try to prevent long-term discrimination.

Who is it for?

The book and the stories are written for children aged between 4 and 9 years. They should be read together with their parents, guardians or teachers, so that they may have a fruitful and educational discussion after each story.

Content of the book?

  • 1000-word stories that represent different people, different cultures and are written in different languages

  • The stories are written both in the mother tongue of the author and in English

  • The stories can be either a personal history an event that has happened to the author or a local myth or legend.

  • Additionally, there is also a kid-friendly recipe from each country so that the children can “taste” each culture.

So far, we have collected stories from these countries:

Argentina, Austria, Barbados, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, North Macedonia, Namibia, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Senegal, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, United States of America, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam!

Now we’re looking for artists to depict the stories! If you like to draw or paint, get in touch with us!
