PROBLEM TO SOLVE

Refugees in Lesvos, Greece needed to receive donations so that they could fulfill their basic needs. In cooperation with Europe Cares, our Hub aimed to deliver as many basic items as possible to help those refugees in need.

OUR SOLUTION

The Munich Hub was responsible for following actions:

• Get in contact with manufacturers and other organizations that may sponsor the initiative through donations - either in monetary form or products.

• Set a target campaign about the initiative to share on social media and intensify our outreach.

• Create a crowdfunding to receive external donations and not necessarily from companies.

• Coordinate the support needed from other hubs and co-lead them towards the project goals.

• Establish a partnership with Europe Cares to help us with the logistics.

Our Impact

• 1 corporate sponsor joined the initiative within its first two months.

• Immediate support from other 4 Hubs by reaching out to their communities and looking for new donors.

• 500 sustainable toothbrushes made out of bamboo were delivered within the project’s first six months of creation.
