The Mindful Hour

What is the Mindful Hour?

It is a series of knowledge exchange sessions featuring experts and testimonies aimed at discussing and breaking the taboo around different mental health issues. The sessions are followed by social meet-ups, providing an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals.

Why do we do it?

The World Health Organization estimates that globally, 1 out of every 8 people will experience challenges related to poor mental health or mental illness at some stage in their lives. By fostering open discussions and community connections, we aim to support awareness on this topic and reduce stigma.

How do we do it?

The Mindful Hour is organised by the Global Shapers Munich, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, in collaboration with the TUM Think Tank. We sometimes collaborate with dedicated organisations based on the topic.
