Simon Heine (Vice-Curator)
Simon Heine is a research fellow and doctoral candidate at the Munich Center of Space Communications, where he conducts research on mega-constellations, 5G/6G networks, and the Internet of Things via satellite. He studied Electrical Engineering at Technical University Munich and ETH Zurich. Further, he is an alumnus of the entrepreneurial scholarship program Manage&More of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center UnternehmerTUM. Mr. Heine gained entrepreneurial experience in the context of a start-up project on circular economy and waste management in the takeaway food sector. At Global Shapers, he is part of the project Computerklasse, which actively assists refugees in Munich in obtaining computers for digital education, homeschooling, or online therapy. Mr. Heine is passionate about using new technologies for the good of our society. He is keen to improve people's lives through access to the internet and to drive digitalization in our communities.

Felix Rank (Partnerships Officer)
Felix Rank has been a Global Shaper in the Munich Hub since December 2021, is World Economic Forum Agenda Contributor and Co-Curator for the Strategic Intelligence platform on the topics of Workforce and Employment as well as Education, Skills and Learning.
As senior consultant for a business & IT consultancy, he is responsible for the digitalization of a large insurance company, focusing on process automatization and Artificial Intelligence.
Felix is co-founder of the German Forum for Ethical Machine Decision Making, a think tank for the responsible use of algorithms and Artificial Intelligence.
Since his studies at the Technical University of Munich, he has been involved in numerous student initiatives as well as non-profit organizations.
Felix has organized and moderated the TUM Speakers Series with guests such as Bill Gates, Kofi Annan and Sam Altman during his studies at the Technical University of Munich. Currently, he serves as the organization's chair of the advisory board.

Amina Taher (Communications Officer)
Driven by a passion for social impact and a commitment to empowering others, an aspiring social entrepreneur with a background in economics and experience in account management, marketing, and business development who is actively pursuing local social entrepreneurship initiatives. Amina is currently leading the Refugee Computerklasse and Run In The Dark Projects at the GSC Munich hub and is fueled by a deep-seated desire to advocate for the voiceless and lead a life of use to the underserved.

Kiara Winona Sweeney (Sustainability Officer)
Kiara is a curious and passionate individual, committed to making a positive impact on her environment and society. With a background in business and several years of work experience, she currently serves as Senior Micromobility Manager at Amazon, where she dedicates herself to advancing sustainably in last-mile delivery.
Concurrently, she is pursuing a second degree in political science with a focus on sustainability at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and volunteers with various social and environmental organizations in her spare time.

Leonard Michalas (Recruitment Officer)
After studying business information systems and international management, Leo advised and supported several multinational corporations in the digital transformation. As a Business Manager, he advises and supports his current organization on strategic and operational topics and is involved in the skill cluster focusing on digital education within the Global Shapers Community.
Leo is passionate about technology, sustainable living, circular economy, animal rights and entrepreneurship. He also enjoys reading, cooking, discovering new restaurants, dancing, and concerts.

Julia Amtmann
Julia is thriving to tackle populism, social and ecological crises. This is also the reason why she started to enhance her skills and engage in three fields which have the greatest impact combined: politics, social entrepreneurship and technology.
She is part of building up the pan-european party Volt Europa by leading the event series of ‘Volt meets Experts’ in Germany and being a candidate for the Bundestag-elections 2021. While perusing a master’s degree in “Responsibility in Science, Engineering and Technology” at TU Munich, she is also working for Schule im Aufbruch gGmbH and developing strategies for the transformation of the German education system.
Besides her passion to address issues that show systemic flaws, Julia loves to be in the mountains and to cook Thai food.

Joey Wilson

Joey Wilson believes that three fields mainly govern the world we live in - science, business, and policy - and that bridging these fields can lead to innovation and impact. He studied in the US, China, and the UK, conducting research in bioengineering, oncology, politics, management, and policy. Serendipitously, Joey moved to Munich to join EY-Parthenon as a strategy consultant with a life science focus. (He secretly also came for the fantastic pretzels and so he would have an excuse to wear his lederhosen more often.) He is passionate about enabling longer, happier, healthier lives for all.
As the Hub's Social Secretary, he frequently organizes one-on-one thoughtful coffees for Hub members, along with group meals and dance parties.
In his free time, Joey loves to watch and play sports, travel, cook, and eat tasty food, dance, listen to music, sing, read, and drink coffee. Joey loves learning, too - he believes we can all learn so much from each other and thus really enjoys meeting new people and chatting about anything they're passionate about.

Clarissa Anjani
Born and raised in Indonesia, Clarissa did her bachelors in information systems in Austin, Texas. She spent most of her career working at PwC in the US, Germany, and Indonesia but is now studying Informatics and Operations Management student at Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) with a passion
Since moving to Munich in 2021, she has been involved in numerous student initiatives such as Horyzn and PushQuantum.
She enjoys doing hiking, scuba diving, and snowboarding in her free time. She is also a certified yoga teacher and teaches free private lessons to family and friends.

Patrizia Mangold
Rufat Mammadov
Rufat Mammadov is an engineer turned sustainability consultant. His aspiration is to help solve world’s toughest sustainability challenges by discovering hidden interconnections between business, nature and society. Before starting his master’s in Sustainable Resource Management at TUM, Rufat was a part of EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability practice. As a sustainability consultant, he was actively engaged in helping industry giants achieve their sustainability goals.

Maria Grebenshchikova
Maria is deeply passionate about bringing data-driven innovations to the health care space, especially mental and women’s health. After moving 17 times across the globe, Maria came to Munich intending to switch gears from research to tech entrepreneurship and pursue projects aimed at improving accessibility and quality of health care. That's why you can find her in a Health Cohort at Global Shapers Munich!
Maria is a published data scientist with experience across verticals, including the economics of gender equality and emerging markets, BioTech, and DataOps. She is pursuing her master’s degree at TU Munich and Harvard Business School and an honor’s degree at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM). Loving all kinds of sports, you can find Maria in a swimming pool, rugby field, or on the mat.

Victor Ertl
Victor Ertl is an interdisciplinary changemaker combining the fields of management, engineering, technology, and society. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Geotelematics and Navigation from the University of Applied Sciences Munich as well as a Master of Science degree in Robotics, Cognition, and Intelligence from the Technische Universität München (TUM).
His personal goal is to have an active role in making the world a better place, fighting global challenges by uniting people using modern technology, and make things happen, together in a collaborative way.
He is currently Impact Officer to support high-quality projects and to track the Munich Hub’s progress. As a Global Shaper, he is working on projects like the Global Goals Jam, computer class for refugees, fighting domestic violence during COVID-19, or awareness events for the European elections.
Other than that, Victor loves music – listening, playing as well as composing in form of a guitarist and singer in a punk rock band.

Colin Benz
Mr. Benz is a graduate in international relations (B.A., American University) and political science (M.A., Ludwig-Maximilian-University), and has been actively contributing to the Global Shapers Munich since 2017. He is currently a main team member of the Computerklasse and Covid-19 Information Translation projects. Previously, he has gained experience in the political and research realms -- at the Woodrow Wilson Center, the German Marshall Fund, and the German Bundestag --, as well as in the business realm -- advising for a winery in Sardinia. He is passionate about empowering people and nations from the ground up through knowledge enrichment. His personal focus is on the relations between the United States (his home country) and Europe (his adopted home).
A language enthusiast since the age of 10, Mr. Benz speaks English, German and Italian, as well improving his Portuguese, Turkish and French, while dabbling in others.

Gyri Reiersen
The Norwegian in the hub, Gyri, came to Munich during an exchange in 2016 and has never looked back. She is currently pursuing a M.Sc. in Robotics, Cognition and Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich with the specialisation of AI and climate models. Additionally, she studies at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), doing an interdisciplinary honours degree by the Elitenetzwerk Bayern. With a profound curiosity for the intersection of humans and technology and a real fear for the future of the world, Gyri is determined to bridging the gap of new technologies and social good.
After moving abroad, Gyri has been working and studying in France, Germany, Ethiopia and Switzerland and worked in med tech, legal tech and agritech. Being passionate about social entrepreneurship, climate action, and diversity in tech, she is active in the the hubs speakers series, start-up project and role model project. Loving nature and fresh air, Gyri is often seen running in English Garten or hiking up a mountain with her speedy glasses.

Simon Dietlmeier
Simon is a PhD Candidate in the Ecosystems, Platforms & Strategy Research Team at the University of Cambridge, where his research is funded by an EPSRC Doctoral Studentship of the School of Technology and with a Doctoral Scholarship of Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS). There he is a member of the Doctoral College “Social Market Economy”. He received multiple other awards and scholarships. Simon has professional experience in industry with Siemens, Airbus and BMW; as well as in policy with the Munich Security Conference (MSC), the Federal Foreign Office, the Federal Ministry of Finance, and the Bavarian Parliament. He relaunched and scaled-up the TUM Speakers Series as Chairman and established the Advisory Board as its Co-Chair. Having been selected in DLD Media’s “50 for Future” class of 2020, his work was shortlisted for The Charlemagne Prize Fellowship 2022. Simon co-founded the G7-75 Years Marshall Plan Young Transatlantic Leaders Initiative, and he is a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum’s Community.

Denisa Isufaj is a business engineer by training, with a MSc in Management from ESIEE Paris. She is currently working as New Brands Category Manager at Amazon.
She is passionate about Social Activism and Sustainability. Thus, she has been volunteering in several NGOs during the last 10years. Besides that, she also follows closely latest initiatives in Gender Equality and Youth Activism. She firmly believes that true change can only come by proper representation in decision making and with youngsters playing a more active role in the today’s society!
Denisa speaks 5 languages and has lived in 6 different countries across Europe. In her free time, she loves to hike, explore new cities, going to concerts, read, play squash or volleyball.

Theresa Kriecherbauer

Markus Kirchschlager
Based in Munich and Vienna, Markus Kirchschlager (linkedin.com/in/markus-kirchschlager) is an entrepreneur and consultant. His work focuses on the crossover between strategy and communications. He specialises in strategy and communications consulting, change communications and European Affairs. Markus is in charge of PANTARHEI Corporate Advisors' operations in Germany. He currently also serves as an advisory board member for a start-up and as member of the International Advisory Board at the Executive Academy of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Before, he was the spokesperson for and an advisor to the General Secretary of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. He was responsible for the planning, supervision and execution of communication activities. In his career to date, he has served as a spokesperson and head of political campaigns, as a consultant in PANTARHEI'S Brussels office, and as a project manager at the European Commission’s Information Centre. Markus has won a number for awards for his work on communication projects, including the Austrian government’s European State Prize and the International Electoral Award presented by the International Electoral Commission.
Markus Kirchschlager studied at the Department of Knowledge and Communication Management at the Danube University Krems, and at the Executive Academy of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where he obtained his MBA in finance. He is a graduate of the Global Advancement Programme and of the Centre International de Formation Européenne. Markus Kirchschlager is a Global Shaper at the Global Shapers Community’s Munich hub and a member of the European Commission’s Team Europe. He is also heading up the integration network for the Order of Malta in Austria. Previously, he was a board member at the Austrian National Youth Council and sat in the European Youth Parliament.

Oliver Reichert
While pursuing his MD degree at TUM, Oliver became fascinated by the countless opportunities science has to offer for prospective doctors. After his first research steps in the LMU anatomy department, he is currently conducting his doctoral thesis about novel pancreatic cancer therapies at TUM. Besides science, he is also passionate about education and has been part of the Computerklasse project since his admission to the Shapers in 2022.
In his free time, he can be found sailing or on his bike exploring the German Voralpenland.
Mehdi Bhouri
Mehdi is a Management and Technology as well as Politics and Technology Master's student. He also works as a part-time political consultant at the German Academy of Science and Engineering (Acatech). Since moving to Munich in 2016, he has been involved in numerous student initiatives, such as Model United Nations TU Munich (MUNTUM) and TUM.ai.
He has a passion for movies, sports, and history.

Stefanie Bausch is a consultant striving to create impact and passionate about innovation, sustainability and strategy.
After completing her MSc. in Consumer Science at the Technical University ofMunich and BA. In Communication Science and Business Administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität she decided to pursue her career by joining goetzpartners as strategy consultant.

Sanam J. Sulaimankhil is a visionary Environmental Engineer, excelling in the realm of innovative water management and sustainable urban planning. Her expertise in data analytics, GIS, and environmental impact assessment empowers her to significantly contribute to the field of urban water systems. As a research assistant and social advocate, Sanam combines technical proficiency with a deep commitment to environmental activism. Currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering at TUM, she is a lifelong learner and a fervent advocate for sustainable development and responsible resource management.

Carmen Mayer
After her bachelor of science in business administration, Carmen Mayer finished her master’s degree in management and digital technologies also at the LMU. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate focusing on sustainable entrepreneurship education. She is deeply passionate about tackling climate change from different angles.

A business psychologist by training, Tabea pursued her Master in Business Strategy & Sustainability to support the societal transformation towards a global economy within the planetary boundaries. With a background in computer science and business Simon is passionate about building infrastructures and ecosystems for achieving collective change.
Simon did his Bachelor in Information Systems in Munich and Singapore. Parallel to his studies he gained experience in research and consulting as well as was active in several student initiatives in Munich.
